Soft power is evolving. It’s becoming an accessible and practical leadership tool. Consider the following:
- If you organize and facilitating meetings, such as serving as the meeting leader or key coordinator, you may be more powerful than you think — even if you work behind the scenes more often than in front of the room or at the head of the table.
- If you’re in any type of leadership role, you can help others build their soft power by involving them more in meetings. Your actions could be especially helpful for women as well as people of color to gain more credibility.
