Your brain is much more plastic than you might think. And when you adopt the mindset that you and your brain can take charge of its neuroplasticity, that is its natural ability to rewire itself, you can make some great personal improvements and advancements.
For example, you can become more self-aware, become more open-minded, regulate your emotions better, and grow in many other ways.
To rewire your brain’s neural pathways, it helps to develop a strong mind-body connection to make sure your brain is getting the energy it needs to stay healthy and perform. (Namely, you need regular sleep, a nutritious diet and exercise.) You also need to seek and experience enjoyable experiences that elicit positive emotions to influence the rewiring. (Sing Think lovely thoughts! — but no guarantee you’ll fly.)
