Have you tried reframing the uncertainty we’re living with as an “opportunity to learn” rather than as a threat? Uncertainty can be a positive trigger for creativity and growth.

If this sounds like a ridiculous proposition, think again. New and ongoing neuroscience research shows that the brain is designed to learn from uncertainty as well as ambiguity — assuming you have a growth mindset and want to use your curiosity and creativity to learn, explore, and innovate.

Published online on Nov. 17, 2025, the article includes some actions you and your team members can take to use uncertainty to your advantage.
